We are pleased to announce our winter statewide virtual training schedule designed to introduce participants to the core characteristics of autism and practices that provide support in a variety of settings.

Autism Spectrum Disorder and Mental Health will provide participants with an introductory understanding of autism spectrum disorder and commonly-occurring mental health diagnoses. Participants will review the core characteristics of autism; learn about prevalence and presentation, and be introduced to evidence-based resources that can be used to support individuals with autism who have co-occurring mental health needs. Participants should have a foundational understanding of autism and/or previously attended Introduction to Autism Spectrum Disorder.

This training will review the core characteristics of autism, the prevalence of frequently occurring mental health diagnoses, how core characteristics of autism increase an individual's susceptibility to mental health disorders, and the factors that influence co-morbid mental health disorders.

Participants will be emailed log-in information and training details approximately 48 hours before the training date. Please check the email you used to register and/or your JUNK mail if you do not find the confirmation in your inbox.
