Supporting Your Child with Autism Spectrum Disorder During the Holiday Season

Join Trauma Matters Delaware and the DNEA for Holiday training on November 2nd at 12:00 – Supporting Your Child with Autism Spectrum Disorder During the Holiday Season. 

While the holidays are a time of joy and celebration, they can also be difficult for youth with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental or intellectual disabilities. This workshop, presented to you by the DNEA, will review why the holidays can be particularly challenging for children with disabilities and their families or caregivers while presenting strategies that can assist in reducing holiday-related stress and challenging behaviors.

This course, “Supporting Your Child with Autism Spectrum Disorder During the Holiday Season,” is approved for continuing education by the NASW-DE Continuing Education Approval Collaborative.  CE Approval Period is from March 1 2022-January 31, 2023.  Delaware social workers will receive 1.5 General CE credits for participating in this course.
