PROVIDING NEURODIVERSITY-AFFIRMING CARE TO AUTISTIC YOUTH AND FAMILIES

Join the DNEA with the Swank Autism Center, housed at Nemours, on Wednesday, June 26th at noon for a virtual one-hour workshop on Providing Neurodiversity-Affirming Care to Autistic Youth and Families. Registration is required.

This training will address considerations in providing neurodiversity-affirming care to autistic individuals and families from an intersectional lens. We will discuss neurodiversity-affirming language and practices during the diagnostic assessment process, when delivering diagnostic feedback, and in treatment planning.
