This training is designed to assist educators in understanding needs of students with autism and will provide the basics on designing a classroom environment with predictable routines and schedules. Educators will learn about establishing expectations as well as preventative strategies for challenging classroom behaviors.

Target Audience: School-based professionals

Registration will begin at 8:30am, with the training starting promptly at 9am. Participants will be issued certificates of attendance upon completion of the training. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER!

Training Prerequisite: participants should have an understanding of Autism and a working knowledge of visual supports, prompting and reinforcement OR have attended a DNEA training on Understanding Autism and Classroom Strategies.
