    This training will provide an overview of the importance of the evidence-based practice of visual supports for students with autism. Participants will learn the process for implementing visual schedules, cues, and boundaries and timers within an educational setting.

    This training is designed to teach how the core characteristics of autism impact social functioning, explaining typical social development and how it differs in children and adolescents with autism. It also covers how to implement evidence-based practices, including video modeling, social narratives and other forms of social skills instruction, that can help teach skills students with autism need to be successful.
